Commercial imports of airguns are strictly prohibited as of now. The only two ways in which airguns can be legally imported into the country have been extensively discussed on other threads like this one - http://indiansforguns.com/viewtopic.php?t=3481

Anyone claiming to be a commercial importer is either lying outright OR is involved in dealings which are less than legal...

Cheers!

hi abhijeet
the owner of gunmark, seems to have all the diana model in his stock. To top it, he offers special discounts to NRAI members, provided his clients send xerox copies of their registration card along with an undertaking authorising him to import on my behalf. I felt he may rotating his stocks this way. any ways, he quoted 86,000 for a morini competetion pistol in .177 cal, do you think it is justified now, custom duty on .177 cal is exempted.

Morini's are available for 6000 less. And you can import them for much less yourself. I think anyone with a club membership can import a match pistol. So why go thru any intermediary?

Ohkay Gentlemen,
I was just informed by my sources that the barrel of the Gunmark350 is of Beretta, the spring n washer are of the Diana 350 magnum, the air chamber is also identical, possible that it is also Diana, the sights are imported but non-branded. The only thing manufactured by him is the stock.
The power is 750fps with a 21 grain pellet. Dont know the muzzel energy.
I think this piece of information is quite true.
He raised the price from 11k to 14k.
Regards,
R.Dhillon.

Hi Dhillon,

So is this the "NEW" air rifle from Gunmark ? Since you have info on fps etc. any chance of sharing pictures ? 14000/- seems cheap for a clone of the Diana 350 Magnum

Thanks

That's 26 ft lbs. Far fetched. A lot, that too.

Or, its chronoed while dieseling.

it seems for the new rifle the barrel remains same as the old one.
i havent seen the new one,but i was told by prasad that its going to be totally remade compared to the old one and would sport a adjustable trigger.
regards sanjiv

old ambassador car with new benz engine doen't help in winning the race track .

Airgun should have nice engineering /manufacturing process not only having imported parts....or else it leads to another ihp kind which have diana cnc rifled barrel and desi powerplant and trigger

A friend in Pune told me so...he knows Prasad quite well and a few people who work for him...I'm double-minded, either to buy Gunmark350 or to wait for 5 mnths n buy a Benjamin Sheridan Super Streak or a Gamo Hunter Extreme...
