Post by BestSniper » Fri Nov 07, 2008 2:08 am

Hi everyone,

Can any one provide me the details about the size/measurements of RWS 350 compression chamber and its main spring? i.e. Outer dia/ internal dia and length etc... as it will help me a lot in building an airgun like this one.
Thx

Wajahat

Arun,

As long as the airgun being fabricated satisfies the deal wood penetration test (see the legal eagle section for more), it is exempt from all provisions of the arms act. Therefore, if one is building it for ones personal use one would theoretically not require any license/ permission of any sort. Commercial production would require relevant licensing from the concerned department(s).

This of course is Indian law - if you would have noticed BestSniper is from Pakistan and therefore Indian laws do not apply to him... I have no clue as to the legal status in Pakistan.

Cheers!

Dear, there are few small cottage factories in sialkot and sargodha who r making cheap quality airguns. In pakistan you dont need any license for making/retaining airguns. However, exporting & importing airguns requires permit from govt.

I asked some airgun maker to build airgun which closely matches rws 350 specification. Lets c wot he makes for me...
