I think its also known as 602 Brno worldwide (correct me if I'm wrong). CZ 550 (.375 H&H) Safari is a full sized Magnum. The Safari can hold 3 Rigby’s in the magazine! The controlled round feed and fixed ejector make this rifle reliable enough for Heavy and Dangerous game. Its available with quite many websites with a price tag of over 1100$ (Minimum).harvikram_brar";p="56464 wrote: How is .375 CZ magnum rifle performance wise.

It'll be much much more if you buy it from India itself (No idea).
P.S. :- This rifle is a killer !
Cheers !

CZ 550's are the best value for money out there for a big bore magnum rifle. The ZKK 602 are different (safety & bolt shroud) and are not made any more.
Positives - True magnum action, built like a tank, control round feed, accurate (for an off the shelf large bore).
Negatives - Action is little rough, need some work on the stock (cross bolts & glass bedding), set trigger.
If you spend a few hundred $'s (add Winchester type safety, replace trigger, cross bolt & glass bed), it can be made into an excellent safari rifle.

There is, however, one small add-on adjustment that can be done. I had proposed this change to the Indian .22, and it was duly incorporated
The front sling swivel is usually non-movable, rendering customization of sling lengths for people with different arm-span. I suggest a metal fitting towards the underside of the stock, which has enough holes for the swivel screws to be placed. That way, people can move the swivel to where they feel comfortable in using the sling for support/hand-stop...

Sorry to piss on your parade but the question most often asked about the IOF .22lr is, "which idiot decided to put that thing there?" Since I cannot tell a lie, I had to tell them the 'idiots' name. There is, however, one small add-on adjustment that can be done. I don't use it but it does not bother me either.
Incidentally, it is preferable to have the front sling swivel mounted on the barrel in the case of heavy recoil rifles as the sling swivel could hurt the leading hand when the rifle recoils.

Re: Cz .375 magnum sports model rifle.
Have a 602 in H&H 375. Built real tough, express sights, integral scope mount rails, walnut stock. Several gunsmiths have told me that the steel is very high quality and many will turn down converting them to diffrent calibers as it destroys their tools. Asked them when I was exploring converting my 458W Mag to 458 Lott. Great value for the price. Any idea what you would use a 375 in India for, its not a pleasure to shoot...

Re: Cz .375 magnum sports model rifle.
Used it on large pigs, hunted for elk, no luck on the elk hunts, plan a grizzly hunt, maybe next year. There is a lot of game in NA that you could use it for. Had a guide try to get me to shoot water buffalo in Texas with his 375 CZ, he told me that the albino version of it was real rare and was a true trophy, I told him I had seen plenty of "bhura majj" in India and had shot them, with catapults .
This dude then shot turtles sunning themself off a rock in a pond with his 458 Lott. Red and green puffs.
