The Thompson is chambered for the .45 ACP, which incidentally is a PB (except in the republic of Mumbai) as are a few others on your/ others lists ;)

My own NPB list is fairly short:

Handguns: .22 LR, .32 S&W Long, .32 ACP, .380 ACP aka 9mm "short", .357 S&W Magnum

Rifles: .22LR, .315, .30-06, .30 carbine

Shotguns: 12ga & 16 ga

We don't ever crib about 357 magnum being a PB in Mumbai.

my own list when i was in india...

12 gauge
16 gauge
.22 lr
30-06
32 acp & s&w & .25 acp
SB & DBML
.275

and a lot of other calibers outside india which include some indian PB too :)

My list:

Handguns: .22 LR (Browning Buckmark in US), .32 S&W Long (Charter arms in India), .38 (Ruger revolver in India) and 9mm (Indian Browning and Glock in India and SiG in US)

Rifles: .22LR ( Colt, Anchutz (Semi autos), BSA and Brno), 7.62 Ishapore .30 Garand M1 and .30 carbine all in India

Shotguns: 12ga in US

The .45 ACP Springfield is a darling gun.. When you say .40SP Beretta, did you mean Beretta 8000 or the 8040?
