Items I Carry Picture

Would love to have a 9mm but sadly too much hassle to get a PB license.

Nawab sahib unless you are an army officer who has been allotted a PB fire arm prior to 1982,or have inherited one or been gifted one by the person whose legal heir you are and who has owned the firearm for the last couple of decades(forget the exact number of years) or you are the son of the Home Minister of India or the PM, your chance of getting a PB license are virtually non existent.

And no,a mamma, chacha, taea etc.(maternal/paternal uncle) will not be able to get you one

Better stick to 7 lakh plus firearms that cost 600/- a pop

Nope.I can almost hear what the Under Secretary would have to say on this They are the ones who will quote all the relevant rules as to why something can't be done.

You can get a license on the basis of a real threat to your life backed by the SSP's report saying that the threat to your life warrants a PB license as you can't defend yourself with a NPB firearm. This will be forwarded to the Home Ministry through the State Home Secretary, who can then either grant or deny the license.

Its a hassle to even get a NPB license... PB is simple out of question other than very few lucky (elite) or unlucky (with real threat to their life) people ..
By the way Jonah, that gun looks really good. It looks like its the new slimline ones..
Cheers

You don't need a license to legally get an automatic firearm from the state govt. The district police chief is competent to issue you one.
