The local term for Imperial grouse in Raj... is BATTA and for common grouse is BATBER.Raj... also has another winter known as WAKU which is little smaller than Imperial.Both are difficult to shoot that I know of 3-1 would be a good rating under present conditions.

bhatta is imperial sand drouse. jaisalmer and bikaner. Batbar (r pronounced as in pakora) is sand grouse. bhatta is bigger than titar and is what u heard of shamsher.

Shahid bhai the large bags arent an indication that the birds are not hard to shoot.
These bags are indicative of not only large numbers and the shooting prowess and the extensive preparations involving hundreds of trained professional men.
