Re: walther ppk/ glock 17 air guns
sorry for being OT but can the drozd be ordered via post,i mean does the gazette mentions anything about the bb guns and their import rules ,if so than under what category...since they cannot be used for target shooting will the card membership suffice?

Sanjiv,
Since it is essentially a .177 cal airgun - it should NOT be treated any differently than the other .177 cal airguns... and the vast majority of models being imported via post are NOT exactly 10m target models! The only criteria IS:
1. You should be the member of a recognised - National/ State/ District/ Tehsil etc. rifle club
2. The calibre of the airgun CAN ONLY be .177 cal
Since the import of pellets is NOT yet allowed via post (at least not clearly defined, which is the same thing for the babus) - you will need to get someone to carry back good quality BB's for you. From the report (the link to which I'd posted), it would seem that 4.5 mm (.177 cal) round lead BB's would be the best bet, even though the manufacturer recommends steel BB's.
BTW www.airgundepot.com is offering a longer barrel plus (mock) suppressor kit for the Drozd for US$ 99/-, the longer barrel (reputedly) offers a bit more MV and ME - just added it FYI.
Cheers!

Check out the video and review on Pyramydair - http://www.pyramydair.com/drozd.shtml - seems like a lot of fun at a pretty reasonable price! With 3 & 6 round bursts... like I said some serious fun quotient there!

Me liking drodz too with desi jugaad it should be a load of fun to shred cans etc.
If there, I think there is one where the paintball bottle screws onto the rifle. If that is so then it'll be a ball.

I got a Umarex (Beretta) PX4 Storm Airpistol on my last trip from US and got it for around USD 150, along with pellets and extra mag. It is quite powerful and very realistic with blowback action. Though i would recommend Umarex/Walther CP99
and/or Umarex/Colt 1911 as they are much more accurate and powerful airpistols, though comparitively expensive, around USD 200-250.
Do any dealers in India stock these ones - Walther CP99 or Colt1911 ?

Hi,
Airsoft (AEG) running off batteries do have Glock look alike models, very detailed look alike, has a mag capacity of about 29 plastic 6mm BB, has a ROF of around 12, and 220fps, available in bangalore for about 5k.
Best part is battery operated so no worry about co2 etc.
PLastic pellets are cheep too.
Check out cyma cm030 on the internet, this is the one i was talking about. If interested i could purchase it and send it to you.

Hello Dev,
Thanks for the information.
Actually, sometime back, i had picked up two
Replica Airsoft models from CP, these ones are
made by HFC, a Taiwan manufacturer. I had picked up a Beretta 92 Spring replica for around ~2K, and a Sig229 GBB replica for around ~4.5K, from Maya Sports in Janpath, CP.
These models are not that bad, as they are not Chinese, the Sig229 Gas blowback is really nice for
plinking, but they are still not Tokyo Marui class.
But, this Cyma's AEG Glock replica model is not that easily available, hence i am interested.
With Best Regards,
Ashish

A dealer in Mumbai has a brand new Walther PPK CO2 air pistol. It comes in a blue plastic carry case along with the standard accessories like co2 cylinder, pellets etc. But he is asking for 30000 plus. Dont know if it is worth the price. Somebody advise.

Is he quoting the same price for the PPK as he is for the CP88? Or are you simply posting the same query across multiple threads? Please take the time to figure out how to interact on forums, especially the concept of "cross posting"...raphel";p="50612 wrote: A dealer in Mumbai has a brand new Walther PPK CO2 air pistol.
