Hi ALL,
Can anybody suggest me a good gunsmith in delhi, who can repair my webley .22 side lever air rifle,
I am facing the following problem:
1. The velocity of the gun has reduced to zero,
2. When i m pulling the side lever, it is getting struck in the middle of the cylinder and i m unable to cock it.
3. The safety catch at the end of the barrel cylinder is also not functioning properly.
What could be the tentative cost involved in repairing the rifle.
I would be obliged if somebody can help me out for the same,
waiting for an immediate responce.
regds,
sd

How did you find out about the zero velocity, when you are not able to cock it?
Anyways, the actual problem can probably be told only when it is open. I guess there are several possibilities as to why this is happening - like wear of the piston/piston-washer or damaged lever... so manyof them.
Wish I could give you advise of good spots in Delhi...
And the cost of repair can depend on what wrong. So, hoping there is only a broken washer jamming the action. I hope it will work out within a few hundreds...

hi ai
i suggest you to use it no more because if something is broken inside and you sitll force it to work anyways then it can harm cylinder permanently so stop forcing it
try asking gunsmith somewhere in daryagang or near kashmiri gate.
thanks

If you get it along with you for the next Delhi offline meet this coming weekend I could take a look... Just let me know what type of screws/ bolts are used (Allen, Torx, etc.) so I can bring along the correct tools.
Cheers!
