Deer population in USA and problems associated with it.

Post by msandhu » Thu Jul 31, 2008 1:47 am

About 100 years ago, US started regulating hunting practices to both conserve different species and also promote hunting tradition with fair chase tradition. The result is that many species like bald eagle has been saved and their population is growing. In fact the population of deer has grown so much that it has become a kind pf problem also. I know a few of my friends who had accidents with deers on road and sustained damage.
Here is a report on deer population in the country and some of the problems associated with it.

MSandhu

You meant the "deer"problem not the "dear" in an endearing way.

They are a nuisance I mean the deers LOL.
Both can cause accidents while driving

Jokes apart the stats for deer population are amazing . The Lyme disease is depleting especially since it goes into remission.

Best

how does one apply for the post of the "sharpshooter" shown in the video?

I think by sharpshooter they actually mean hunters. A person without hunting permission cannot shoot deers
