Worth buying but i am sure the expected price will be equal to the value of a nice luxury car. :)

I know someone from the Punjab (Kishankot near Amritsar) who once owned a PA shotgun owned by the great shikari himself.... IIRC it went to a relative when the 3 license limit was imposed... He's migrated now and currently has 3 more beautiful guns languishing with dealers now (including an H&H bolt action .375 in awesome condition) been begging him to either sell them or to get them exported to Canada - all to no avail

Cheers!

Kishankotia rajas ( this is the title they are know as) near Sri Hargobindpur by any chance. .. If yes I had been to their village/land once. I had heard about 375 for sale in that area not sure if it was HandH

I just happened to see this information regarding the 450/400 Rifle once owned by Jim Corbett.

Corbett owned 8 guns and rifles. If the current owner of Corbett's 450/400 care to contact me WITH DETAILS, I can verify it's authenticity.

Hello everyone!

Any details about the Jeffery 450/400 double rifle that was advertised in the Calcutta Statesman a few weeks ago,as Jim Corbett's rifle? Did the ownership of this rifle authenticated?

Some of you may have new information on the Corbett owned Jeffery 450/400 double. If so, please share.

Jerry

Manoj,

The original post is a year old.

The poster listed as Corbett was inquiring about the authenticity of the rifle is all.

IF ANYONE HAS INFO ON THIS RIFLE PLEASE POST!

There, it has been said, as many people would indeed like to see pictures of it. And at the same time, while this particular rifle I am sure exists, it may just be a similar gun to Corbetts and not his actual rifle.
