Hi All,
thanks for a warm welcome from you all, it will be great to get your pm with your details siddhart so that we can meet up soon. Today i went and found out from Garg armory about blueing fluid they did not have it and gave a very negative reply about the blueing fluid. I showed them my pistil and they came up with pricing of 4500 to 15000 for bluing depending on what i wanted done. Hope to get some advise about this from you guys.
Thanks and regards
Jerry

HI Jerry,

Any blueing liquid would just be useful for the purpose of touching up the firearms. A worn out and rusted pistol cannot be finished with a reblueing liquid. A firearm needs to be cleaned before its reblued...which in most cases would mean taking off the earlier bluing .That can be done either by buffing on a machine in which case you would end up with virtually loosing all the words embossed on the pistol like the makers name etc or cleaning it with sand paper before rebluing . If its being done by the machine it just takes 10 min to have the job done. The process done by hand is much more time consuming. Final price depends on the process being followed. Hmmm 15000/- just for the bluing is extremely expensive. Do ask them what they going to do in 15000/-

If it is done for the first time it wont affect that much, the text will still be visible.
