hi rosario, congrats on your find. i've had my IHP 35 for over 10 years now without problem, in spite of all the abuse i heap at it. you'll find it's a pretty resilient gun.
as for the lack of peep sight, i wouldn't grudge the loss. it was a shoddy affair, not really adjustable, with a potential to get in the way of scope should you ever want to groove the gun to fit one.

Yes, I agree on the 'Peep sight'. It was only like a small peice attached, which had a hole in it, thru which one would end up seeing the sights that are there now. I dod not see much use fo it either.
