Hi Manish...go for it. It's a good product & have been using it for the last 6 months on my IHP, Crosman & RWS rifles. Quite handy & easy to use.

Cheers!

Hi zafar...I use it approximately afttr every 1000 shots or so have been fired. If I have taken the rifle on the field, I use it a bit more early coz of the dust particle factor which is more pronounced.

Hi Rishu...I guess some armoury in B'lore shud be stocking them. Alternate is u get in touch with Col Kulkarni & order it vide post.

Cheers!

Are you refering to the felt pads/pellets? If so, please put a pellet behind one when cleaning the bore on a spring-piston air-rifle. This will prevent piston slam.

Sires

"KLIN SHOOT TM
Bore Cleaning Wads For Air Rifles & Pistols"
From
G.Smith & Co.

Are these the ones everyones talking about?

Are these recommended on a new air rifle (i'll ensure to put a pellet behind the felt pads)

Sire Bana what say?? Or is there any other way to clean your air rifle's barrel - though havent required it till now as the person who sent my air rifle had cleaned it well. But might require it in future. Though BIG GUN! Abhijeet tried to get his .177 bore cleaning sling into the barrel but we were unsuccessful as the moderator inside the barrel blocked the cleaning sling, What say any recommendations??????

Cheers
Siddharth

Sid,

I use a pull-through. If there are obstructions, such as baffles, that prevent the pull-through being inserted into the barrel, then use a drinking straw to guide it past the obstructions.

Does one actually need stuff like Klin shoot to clean Air Rifle barrels. Is it recommended.

Too much of oil based cleaners can lead to deiseling in the Air Rifle.

Mack The Knife Guruji,

Can you share info on pull through for .177 springer. How to make one or buy one in Bombay. The barrels need to be cleaned.

Do a forum search. I recall making a post with pictures of various pull throughs and how to use ithem. Will most probably be in the gunsmithing section.
