Post by browning » Fri Apr 18, 2008 6:06 pm

I was going to Bangkok and would like to bring back some pellets. I will be staying in the Siam area. Could you please tell me a close-by gunshop. What is the maximum no. of pellets i can bring back and at the same time the customs should no have any problem? Any advice on getting the same?

Thanks.

2000 pellets is said to be the legal limit.

I think it may also depend on the time of arrival of your flight and which Airlines you travel in. Suggest you divide them into two suitcases... just in case :)

Under baggage rules All pallets are considered as sensitive (firearms) item therefore no more than 50.

In Chennai, Joint Commissioner has made this notification to all concern department, yesterday. Also they have posted in the noticeboard.

If you declare! Otherwise, you can through all across the baggage for a easy pass :)

chennai custom seems to be a hard proposition for shooting sport lovers. until now i heard bringing an airgun was impossible but even pellets are a bad bet there
