Introduction

Greetings to all "imaginery friends", as my daughter-in-law calls my son's friends on his 4-wheeler forum. Having snuck in the back-door, so to speak, on the .315 India discussion, and than have my attempted intro eaten, I will try again. Briefly, born in Germany, Bombay to Karachi in May of '48 by train, with smoke still rising in the Punjab, on to Kabul, back to Germany after six years, to the US in '56, to Alaska in '67. Background in wildlife management and engineering, practicing gunsmith for 45+ years. Fluent in English and German, Farsi getting rusty, Russian even more so, but still decypherable. Interests are hunting, big game and birds; fishing, fresh and saltwater; boating; horses; shooting, though not competitive since '67; everything connected with the outdoors. This being my first time on a forum, I am still learning to navigate. If you're wondering about the handle, after many years of changing username and/or password every thirty days, I had to pick something I hadn't used before, and, most importantly, could remember. Two Rivers is the name of the community where I live. Cheers
