Lawman,

Send Badshah a pm,he owned one for a while and seemed quite happy.

From the pics it looks like the gun accessorory .22 has been give na make over.

Though given the price diff,I would suggest go for the IOF .32 Revolver,it is good value for money.

For feed back on the IOF .32 send get in touch with Anupam.

Sanjay

Hi,
IOF 22 revolver is a alloy body the barrel which is a thin steel tube is fixed in the alloy barrel Since any 22 say REVOLVER/PISTOL OR RIFLE fires only RIM fire ammo so you cannot dry fire the weapon as the firing pin will strike on the edge of the chamber resulting dents and later you will find that the ammo is not loading properly and the chamber is damaged. The IOF 22 is very light I have fired 3 rounds 22 KF ammo in 2 brand new revolvers but the KF fired accurate at a distance of 25 ft but still then in a alloy body you always have a feelings as to when it might develop cracks even resulting to major injuries to shooters weapons like ERMA ER- 432 I have heard many stories regarding the accidents occured by ERMA first the barrel gets loose later the revolver breaks you never know on which shot it will break. will suggest that you buy any steel body weapon.

hey HA,
I ve been using the IOF .22 for the past 3 yrs and if u go thru the manual even IOF recomends the usage of ELLY. it is a good firearm, the only problem i have come across is after firing all the rounds in succession u ve got to wait for atleast 10 mts for it to cool down so that the empties can be removed.

hi james,
today i checked up with mr das who is senior sales manager iof ishpore. he informed that iof .22 revolver with steel chamber is still a thought. though he expected this to come in market in another 7 months but nothing for sure. he informed that the present waiting for .22 is not less than 2.5 years. steel chamber revolver, even if it comes for sale also ,would have to prove itself as the authorities are also not sure of its success. he told that the factory has been cleared to set up a new plant in Kirkee to expedite the production due to the increasing demand of.22 rev. he himself advised to go for .32 rev/pistol for better results and speedy procurement.
