Restore an old air rifle

Post by fantumfan2003 » Sat Apr 05, 2008 11:16 am

I have been given an old air rifle which is rusted and not in a very good condition.
I think its a Milbro in 4.5mm

I have a couple of pics

I want to remove the rust and restore it to working condition.

Whats your recommendation for removing the rust.

Please help.

Is your restoration project not under discussion on another thread? Or is this another gun? How many airguns are you currently restoring?

Manish,

Your thread is in the gunsmithing section.

Hi Rustom and Abhijeet,

I did'nt know it was moved to the gun simth section. I must have missed the msg/email informing thread moved. I thought the thread ought to be put here coz its about an airgun.

Thanks you for informing...

I don't think one gets an e-mail or PM notifying one that the thread has moved.

Your query deals with a branch of gunsmithing and hence the shift.
