Nice looking one Cherian. I presume the stippling done here was done by you. It has come out really well. Did you apply any finish on the stippling after it was done?

Hey Cherian,

Nice piece.

Work well done on the stock. Makes it worth while owning an IOF .22 rifle.

The magazine is an eyesore... I plan to(When I get down to owning an IOF .22 rifle), throw it away or donate it to someone needy- In it's place I plan to build a 10 shot rotary magazine not too different from the Ruger 10-22.

I'll make the base flush with the stock....(a new one as well)...

Shoot well and safe.

Hi Cherian,

At some point, you should try your hand at hand rubbed oil finish. I think there isn't any that is better.

Sanjiv,

The IOF dovetails aren't 16mm wide. If it's the height you are refering to then 16mm is a bit too short for what I am seeing in the picture.

Well done, Cherian.

CC, I'll buy that mag off you whenever you get yourself an IOF.

ohh yes rusty,it was not the iof,...is it the brno that needs 16 mm scope mounts??since last year had come across one lr with a scope that had 16 mm scope mounts in the msra, sorry may be i didnt see it or hear it correctly, but had for sure got some some similar scope mounts which were 16 mm on the width, since they didnt fit the 11mm on my airrifle ,i just wasted the money on them.
regards sanjiv
