Re: Indian Hume Pipe(IHP) "National" air rifles &a
Actually speaking there is no difference between the two. Its just a sellers gimmic. But to shed more light try to get in touch with joydeep . He is a member and also pretty helpful. He is the distributor for IHP airguns too and has been posting on the forum often.

IHP 35 Delux has a Diana type butt with rubber hill plates and without peep sights.
The rates are same for both IHP-35 and IHP-35 Delux.

as rightly mentioned by kezar ihp 35 delux has no peep sight it has a high cheek rest on the stock, plus the front and back sight is palced a few inches far apart than the 35.Price is same for both of them its just a matter of individuals choice.
Pneumatic ihp airrifles are good at their prices there is a good demand among shooters in this part of the country but unfortunately there is very little supply from ihp.

Re: Indian Hume Pipe(IHP) "National" air rifles &a
@Shooter: Judging by the info provided at the IHP website the model 25 simply appears to be a lower powered version. The effective Range for the Mod 25 is 25m and the Mod 35 is 35m. Here are some of the other obvious differences:
Mod 35: Length is 1155mm, Mod 25: 1000mm
Mod 35: Barrel is 450mm, Mod 25: 400mm
Mod 35: Weight is 3.5Kg, Mod 25: 2.5Kg
Both are available in either calibres. However it beats me why the effective range remains the same in both the calibres. Cause if all else is constant, a change in calibre from .22 to .177 would result in increased MV, thereby resulting in better range. The accuracy can be debated as lighter pellets would tend to deflect more, unless you're using solid .177s, where the weight would equal a .22 and hence the MV would remain unchanged.

Hi Striker,
When you refer to range, what is the target you have in mind? For target practice or general plinking, as long as the pellet makes a mark, you're good. If you want a general idea, my local air rifle can make a decent dent in a thin tin sheet at 30m. It would pass thru the same sheet at 22m.
When it comes to international standards, danger doesn't refer to your target. It refers to a fellow living thing. If a pellet can cause a small nick at 300m, it is still a danger.
Imagine a pellet hitting your eye if somebody just drops it from a floor above, with nothing but gravity propelling it. It can still blind you. That is danger.

NO WAY!! It's an Indian made product and the slime ball cannot force you to pay more than the MRP for it. Contact the IHP office via e-mail, get their MRP pricing and report this cheat to the consumer forum!!advitiyas";p="38169 wrote:National Mod 35 0.177 cal. is at Rs 5600 with a carry bag . should I buy it ?

thanks mundaire bhaiyia,
I was too shocked by his price, but he is counting on being the sole supplier for U.P. even the gun doesn't look good. The stock is hopeless for 0.177. The 0.22 IHP was much better with fine wood n nice grip. But I can't practise sport from a 0.22 rifle.
So I m going to email the IHP guys or may even call them to check the MRP.
But I should remind that he is only supplier.
thanks Mr.mundaire for a such quick n precise help

Jagoo grahak Jagoo.....
Well atleast ask them that why that price tag of 5600/- May be they colour the stocks to make them red green and blue....and then sell them in gun covers....but the price is rather expensive. No harm in askin buddy.
