Thanks Anupam. But you really dont need to take the trouble. I have traced one of the officers thanks to a friend who is now in Bangalore for a senior officers' course.

Cheers

hi Mack The Knife,
Great collection I must say pal!And exactly how big a hole did it leave in your pocket to nurture your hobby of knives & guns? Just curious you dont really have to answer that one! Are you still in Bangalore as your profile suggests?Would love to see your collection someday! Cheers...

Hi Mack The Knife,
Great collection you have. I think the Hattori 2004 Limited Edition is a very fine knife. I just got my son a CRKT plastic and rubber training knife. Teaching him the rules & safety at an early age. He is 2 years and 9 months. Keep up the great collection and wishing you many more great finds in the future.

My small and humble collection was aired on NDTV India under the programme 'Salaam Zindagi' yesterday 8-9pm. There is a repeat telecast on Saturday and Wednesday 2-3pm. Mine is the third segment.... so should come on by 2.15pm or so... If free, do care to watch and provide some comments.. !!

Sniper,

I wouldn't mind adding to the collection but don't really feel the need for one at the moment.

I find that my SAK, Spyderco Bill Moran DPT and Byrd Cara Cara address almost 99% of the tasks I need a knife for.

I almost ordered an Estwing Sportsman's / Campers Axe a few days back but my card got declined and I need to find out why that has happened before I can make any more online purchases.

Hi AC, That looks like the horn of (im guessing) Sambhar or spotted deer.
I have a kukuri around 60 years + it has an ivory handle.
I also have managed to procure an axe - will post pics soon. Mack The Knife sir could you get that axe you wanted to pick up?
