IFG stickers....

Posts that don't fit into any other category. If it's anything to do with guns, it probably doesn't belong here!

OUP, that was quick!! :D BTW, I quite like that particular model as well... ;)

Will try and get a pro to take a look at your concept and have him refine it further... he is to come in to office to meet me later in the day...

Cheers!

Where did you get the snap of Abhijeet in his ethnic finery and moustache phase?

OUP-
the garand is my fav, but given the eclectic nature of gunownership in India, may i suggest a
'rifle -handgun-shotgun' repetitive motif?

Awareness
ownership
responsibility

in that order-if at all you are planning to incorporate the motto
''It dont mean a thing, if it aint got that zing!''

"...Oh but if I went 'round sayin' I was Emperor, just because some moistened bint lobbed a scimitar at me, they'd put me away..."

Out in the badlands of UP, roamed a lone ranger on his trusty steed armed with his 1911.
He wore full Ethnic Regalia, I sneaked up when he wasnt looking  and snapped up this trophy.

Well, I for one would look at the Garand as a harbinger of hope :). We have set out on an ardous journey and this is like a goal :P to me. What would we be, if it werent for hopes and dreams.

Buenos Dias Senor' Jefe ! Cómo sean los robos que vienen :D ?

I tried out your suggestion, but the handgun/shotgun/rifle combo takes away the wheel effect that comes with using one type of rifle. Usage of only one type of rifle makes it appear like a homogenous design. Well thats my own two bits, have a look and let me know.

All these are just drafts, they'd need a bit more work before the final cut.

Si Senor' Jefe, il ocupado con el diseño de Logo.

So,as you can see this is a no go. The one rifle design looks a lot better.

Thanks
 Yep but I made it a point to pick up a Mark VI, which might as well be a PB(need clarification from the Gurus) as it was originally chambered for the .455 Webley Cartridge.

Hiya Guys!

Has a design been finalised yet? I've worked on photoshop for over 8 years now and can try out some designs if needed.

I dont know about printing details etc in India cause haven't been here long.

But if you can send me some inputs, requisites etc I'd be glad to oblige. The pride of going down in history as the person who designed the logo for India's major (only) Shooting Forum is really appealing! :-)

Plus this'll be an opportunity for me to get to know you guys better.

Mo.

Mo, nothing has been finalised yet. By all means have a go, the requirements would be:

1. It should be simple.

2. The logo should be in vector format so it can be easily resized without loss in quality.

3. It must look good in black and white under all circumstances.

4. It should be possible to reduce it to the size it'll be on a business card.

5. Unfortunately due to legal reasons we cannot use national symbols like the Ashoka Chakra and Ashoka pillar lions (the reason why the current logo has a cartwheel in stead  ).

Do feel free to draw from any/ all of the previous submissions on this thread. :)

Cheers!

Thanks for the quick reply!

Subtle. Perhaps a bit too subtle.

Hmmm... What changes do you suggest??? Start from scratch with a completely different theme or work on this?

subtle and hence prove the fact that you might come up with the official logo, one of a kind and quite new for the mind to react at the first glance.
