Hey Sid,
I was much in your shoes a couple of months ago, until Mack The Knife, Dev, Abhijeet et al inspired me to go for the HW77. I understood it was going to be a one time buy and i might as well invest in something that's going to give me pleasure to shoot and plink. So I closed my eyes and let go... Today I think I am a happy man with one of the best guns.... Ofcourse i never counted on the addiction it was to bring with it... I feel like buying a HW97K now or a Diana 54 up for sale recently...
So, decide on the merits and go for a foreign one...

Re: Indian Hume air rifles & air pistols
For the budget of thy favourite HW's I can easily stock up with ten IHP'S. Its more likely you will negate your bank balance because of your compassion for those who don't buy a HW. I would love to reveal to the public how much loot you give away or spend on couriering stuff to friends and foes alike.
Would love to see you changing colour and doing the 'aw shucks' thing with your arms and legs entwining in modesty.
Salaams thy incurable IHP FAN.

True but as the Pilkgun's logo says - Quality has no regrets. I don't think I will ever hear anyone say that about the past and current IHPs.For the budget of thy favourite HW's I can easily stock up with ten IHP'S.

No moaning or regrets, this is what i wanted for a first air rifle . But considering the ones you have been using, you'd certainly wont use it for the second time. AND i am happy with this rifle only till i have saved enough money to go in for a good powerful, reliable rifle.dev";p="31352 wrote:What are moaning about? Sid. Shoot it for a while and then decide if you must have a magnum air rifle, I'm sure Mack The Knife will find you a Diana 350
.
