IHP .177 or Commander .22

guys,

I had visited the sambandham shop in chennai(a airguns dealer in chennai)

he showed me a model called commander .22 (w.Germany) air pistol type for 6.5k rs.
IHP .177 costs ard 2.7k rs.
shall i go for this commander .22 or go for and national .177 pistol type model??

please give me ur esteemed suggestions...

mainly i would be using the Air pistol for plinking!!!!!

Friends please suggest which one to buy...will be buying within few days ....

Ask what velocity the commander does. If the fps is good then go for the .22. Specially if it a German product, check which has a smoother trigger etc.

a friend of mine advised me to go for the National airpistol....he says its the best for beginner...and you(Mr.Dev) also had suggested that go for National and then upgrade after gaining practice....after goin thro the posts in this forum i feel National wudd be a better option....
one more thing the National is not available in Mr.Samanthan shop!!!!!...so my close friend will help me in buyin it from some other dealer way south(coimbatore,trichy or madurai cities)!!!

My friend has a IHP pistol and its very good- I would recommend it if you want to get some beginners practice .

Hoi lets drop the mr thingie, Dev works pretty well among friends and others call me whatever comes to their minds anyway

Go ahead and have a lot of fun. Set up series of cans and make sure you have tons of ammo.

Dear IFG members

Commander air pistols are manufactured in Delhi, India and are available in market between Rs.750/- to Rs.1,000/- for different models.

In South you could easily get cheated.

There is no Commander brand air pistol from Germany.

yes
the pistol is made in India and i had made a mistake sorry....

but the commander pistol price is 6k rs!!!!

anyway i bought the IHP pistol for 2.5k rs!!! and it rox !!!!

one more thing long back more than 5 yrs back i had similar maybe the same airgun for fewdays gifted to me by my dad....but unfortunely the airgun was taken by my cousin and he broke it i dunno how

anyway iam plinkerin a lot..and
one more iam also tyin balloons and shooting at it....!!!

the tins are gettin out of shape with so much plinkering!!!!!!
