1. Is bluing the gun a perfect solution for rust?
No.

But its certainly the best looking.
2. As my handgun is new and still in warranty period for one year, by modifying the gun would i be breaching the warranty clause? OR should i wait for an year before getting it modified?...
Why bother?

If you don't mind looking after your pistol, there's nothing nicer than blue. Unless you specifically want to see what an IOF pistol looks in blue, you can consider the blue finish(Properly done) on any gun a fair representative of what blue should look like.

Yup that is the fun of this place. A little ground baiting does no harm. ;-)

I would wait for the warranty to lapse before giving it a makeover, though personally I would keep that to the bare min just bluing and a change of grips if required.

I second that... I am doing just that with the revolver... rather not take chances with OFB warranty lapsing due to 'pangas'... Just keep firing to make sure there are no mfg. defects... change grips but play with it after a year...
