HI!

Definitely go for Kiehberg 1911 as its a very high quality weapon with 100% imported parts assembled by Syndicate Innovations International Ltd. Manufactured by Girsan Turkey which has a big presence in USA along with 55 other countries. Magazines are from ACT Mag Italy.
The company is offering 10,000 accurate shots guarantee which is unprecedented in the Indian market.
Girsan Turkey is the recepient of Handgun of the year award from American Rifleman Association in Shot Show Las Vegas USA in 2024. By far it is the best quality weapon launched in India. You wont regret buying this!

I feel Kieberg is quite expensive but then all .45 Calibre guns from India are more or less similarly priced. Have you finally decided on the Calibre ? if not, would recommend Malhotrasons .30, it's reasonbaly priced and is one of the best sellers and is well reputed.
And please, in no way do I hint at your spending capacity, it's just the best value for the money that I focus on.

All the best

eldespot, you have not told us what the game is that you want to play. There are many uses; please tell us what you want to use the gun for, so we can help answer your question. For instance, do you want a gun for carrying as a self defense gun? Do you want a gun for shooting at the range? Do you want a gun just because you want one, like a collector?

Maybe you want a gun that will suffice for a number of things, which is understandable under the two weapon limit.

Help us understand what the game is that you want to play.

Sir, the game in India is very simple, the game is to have a gun for safekeeping. The ammo quota is anywhere between 10-50/year with proof given of why and where you fired those rounds before you get next year quota, with that you can't even practice, you can't even use it in self defense because that will also ensure that you spend years in a court case. But yes despite that I still have a gun at home to be used as a last line of defense in case of a threat to my family.

Hope this clarify.

pgupta, I understand your characterization of a deplorable situation, and I don't disagree, but the question was posed to eldespot, the OP, to see what his intentions are.

Plese refer to dsingh's observation here:

He is referring to the same question.

Most important factor why u need pistol for self defence or for shooting sport.
