I am not sure if it is available in India as here in USA. I own a S&W 422 and also a S&W M&P .22. Which are great but many different brands available here. But consider something like this also . There are some firearms on market that you can shoot multiple calibers with some sort of adaptation or kit to shoot .22 from it. This way if you are limited to one firearm, you can shoot more potent round for Self Defense use. See if that option is available in India. just a suggestion. There are revolvers also like allow you to shoot multiple calibers. e.g. Magnum .357 will also allow you to shoot 38 Special ...
