Timeframe for registration ? With MRA ? With NRAI ? I am waiting for mine for both since July of 2012.

Anyway, you are lucky that Sheela's teaching you personally. Follow the thread on TOPS (Tips on Pistol Shooting) by hvj1 and have the essentials discussed therein (e.g. grip, stance etc.) checked out by Sheela. You will gain immensely. Good Luck.

I have been told that there is a Safety Course and registration happening on the 21st of April 2013 from 11 am. There are a few of us from Pune who are coming in.
Do let me know if you can find any more details.

Had been to MRA Worli on 21st April. Safety course, indemnity bond signing and registration did happen. Me and few of my friends finished the procedure. There were about 30 odd participants there.

Registrations will be done on the 28th of April as well.

What all amenities do you get in the lifetime membership? Like do they provide any training/coaching or do you have to pay separately for it? If yes, then how much?

It's best to ask them directly. I doubt any coaching would be available for free (anywhere in India), except on goodwill basis. Though, I expect range access would likely be included or at least be at discounted rates for members.

Once again, best to call/ meet them and ask directly what benefits they provide to members.

Mostly likely, the only practical difference between annual and life membership is likely to do with voting rights - for choosing the elected members who run the association.
