My first gun
I got my arm license in Jan 2022.My first choice of weapon was a pistol 0.32 or 0.45 as it the best option for concealed carry and I heard about many international brands finally making debut in india with some good weapons. had my hopes high but as you all know the current scenario all we are getting are dates for launch. So after waiting for a year and checking every week websites of Glock, Webley ,czvinveli for any update. I decided to go for our very own all time fan favorite Indian ordinance 0.32 pistol by RFI. I didn't like the design of RFI pistol but this pistol was well praised and within budget so I decide to go with it. while going to visit local arm dealer i was not that excited bcoz of the reason i did not like this particular design and I was like lets buy and after 2-3 year when more option will be ready change it but then dealer showed a RFI modified pistol and I was sold on that look and so i booked it and as of 21 Feb. I have proudly been owner to this beautiful pistol.
The reason for not going after Malhotra .045 pistol was size but i have to admit that is one good piece of machine.
Thanks for reading. Have a good one.

Re: My first gun
Thank you sir
The day I bought mine the dealer also showed me Malhotra champion .045. It is roughly the same size as IOF pistol very easy to concealed carry
it is 300 grams heaver then IOF pistol but quality wise its far superior then RFI m2. Its is good to see finally superior weapon in India
currently Malhotra sons champion pistol is going at premium but in 3-4 months price will settle like the Malhotra sons guardian Which was first being sold at 6-7 lakh pand currently you can get one between 3.5 to 4 lakh

Re: My first gun
Right but it’s not necessary that everyone should buy Malthotra’s .45 champion (short barrel). RFI .32 is cheaper, ammo is cheaper, light weight, less recoil.

Re: My first gun
Vineet, sir, you are exactly right. When a person is able to get the gun that they want, that is a cause for congratulations and celebration. There are many reasons a person wants and buys a particular gun, and it doesn't matter a hoot whether that choice is the same as ours or not. The important part is that we have another happy gun owner.

Re: My first gun
The dealer has made a good modification, the grip looks very nice too. Where did you buy it from? Do share a shooting review also.
