This is true.

So why is it that we see so many videos of guns being fired, but very seldom see whether anything besides the dirt is hit when they are fired at something -- anything?

Even the cheapest, most crudely made pistol will go "Bang"!

The most poorly designed pistol will go "Bang"! even if where it hits is unpredictable:

The video makes a great point: we don't doubt that the latest "gee-whiz" will go bang, and don't need to see that happen. What we want to know is, can it be used to hit anything -- not whether it makes a noise when it is fired.

Thanks a lot , Mr. Sarna. On my previous post , I forget to mention about the insightful demonstration about MSD45's usage , safety , general maintenance & cleaning at the venue. India arms Corporation has 230 gr, FMJ & HP. Shoots well , however we lack gear to measure velocity and penetrations metrics etc.

Congratulations on your new acquisition. The pistol appears to shoot well. Please do not take this as a criticism but the 45 Colt needs a two hand combat grip. That grip and stance is great for target competitive shooting with 22 rimfire and low powered centre fire target pistols but a big NO for the 45 ACP.

Congratulations on your 45 Auto! They are a very satisfying pistol to shoot.

I usually practice shooting my "carry guns" with both hands, though not exclusively.

I know there is always something for me to learn, but I can't recall that I've ever tried shooting my Colt Series 70 with two hands in the 37 years that I've owned it. For me, it's strictly a "Bullseye" gun, both in shooting style and in powder.

You should wait for atleast two months

New one available for 3.5 lacs so why to go for second hand.

Also consider why the owner is selling. Get the piece checked by competent gunsmith and fire atleast one magazine full if you are buying it
