You need to have BB ,No.4, and Destructor slug for the complete collection.

While I must say that a cartridge collection is a nice way to start, how do you propose to buy live cartridges for your collection, given the worlds strictest gun rules in India ?

Re: Cost of old shotgun cartridges
If one does not posses a valid licence and still wants to collect old shotgun cartridges then I think collecting old Empty shotshells would be the only option left.

Re: Cost of old shotgun cartridges
It is still fun to collect empties, however. I've been doing this since I was a kid. I don't have a broad collection of shotgun hulls (except that I do have quite a number of 12 and 16 gauge hulls for my own reloading), nor do I bother with rimfire cases, but my centerfire pistol and rifle cases do have some diversity, running from 5.7 x 28 to a 20 mm military case. My own needs do have a few oddballs, such as 7.5 x 55 Swiss and 8 mm Lebel (for my own reloading), but the strangest one I can think of, or the one I like the best is a 7 x 61 Sharpe and Hart (mainly because I like Phil Sharpe, the early gun writer).
I think that collecting varied shotgun hulls could be interesting and fun, and get one into some interesting discussions.

Re: Cost of old shotgun cartridges
I wanted to add to my post above, and note that shotgun hulls have interesting aspects, too.
When I was young, there was a large chemical plant down the highway about 20 miles from town, and fellows who worked there came to the gun shop I frequented. One gave John, the owner, a massive 8 gauge shell. When I inquired about it sitting on the shelf (it was noticeably larger than any shotgun shell I'd seen) John got it down and I looked at it. There was a solid cylindrical lead slug ioaded in the roll crimped hull. John said these were used to fire up the very tall chimney stacks to clean out slag and other build up that collected in them.
It was a unique specimen in my mind -- just one of what I suspect to be many interesting variations to collect.

We have a valid arms liscence then, why I can't collect live cartridges. And in future I will try to own our dbbl on heirloom basis.
