Werywin Armscor 1911 High Capacity Model - India Market

Hello IFG'ians,

I am attaching first few images of the Werywin Armscor (Rock Island Armory) 1911 pistol with High Capacity double stack magazine in .45 ACP caliber. The 1911 pistols of Werywin - Armscor alliance will initially come in 4 variants starting with basic models to high capacity. The 4 variants are mentioned as under:

1 - Standard 1911, 8 rounds, 4.2 Inch barrel
2 - Sub compact 1911, 7 rounds, 3.6 Inch barrel
3 - High Capacity 1911 (Full), 14 rounds, 5 Inch barrel
4 - High Capacity 1911 (Compact), 14 rounds, 4.2 Inch barrel

The images attached are serial 3, High Capacity 1911 (Full), 14 rounds with 5 inch barrel, weighing 1.22 Kgs

It looks amazing. I have one question though, price and availability of .45 ACP. It is not available at many places in India and price is way above INR 600 per pop. Price and availability of ammo is a major concern, do you have any plans for ammo too?

A quick question your current license number as Per MHA is M/New/0123/MHA/2021 dated 28-07-2021.

As per this license your company does NOT have authorization to manufacture pistols chambered in 45 ACP.
Whereas all the products you have launched are in 45 ACP.

Is there any change in your license status? And has MHA now amended your license to include this caliber?

As these manufacturers are trying to launch their new products in the Indian market with Make In India tags where one of the same kind of manufacturers imported ‘Slides & Frame’ fitted with all components stating this is the standard fitting of slides & fitting’ the third component is a magazine.
This company Syndicated Innovation International Limited allowed to import 68500 Slides, 68500 Frames & 68500 Magazines by DGFT the trial shipments of 500 pieces are held up in Delhi Customs & they filled a writ petition before Hon’ble Delhi High Court WPC 10143/2022 where Delhi Police after inspecting the import consignment revealed that there are components inverted in the Slide & Frame it’s looking like a pistol imported in the part of three components.
This is Make In India?????????? Where companies are allowed to import the firearms in CKD Condition to sell in the Indian market as Make In India ‘Pistol’ which is fully manufactured in Turkey.

@Udhavjadhav @drjones - Yes, we will be bringing the ammunition, should be affordable too

@Kanwar - Great to hear from an old timer. Striker fired pistols are planned, doing final testing in 32ACP, it was difficult but we are in the last stages of prototypes. Phew, took us more than 2 years to do the 32ACP striker fired pistol. S&W CSX is indeed amazing but available only in 9mm as of now.

@pistolero - Licence amendment to include 45ACP was filed about 6 months ago, should receive it by September. 45ACP ammo already on license.

So you have launched a product for which the Goverment has not authorized you to manufacture and you are expecting authorization!

Cool move. But it’s your business and if people want to wait for you to launch a product for which you don’t have a license, is another thing.

Don’t think it’s fair business practice and this is totally in General Public Interest
