Ar Pistol in India?

Post by KDS991213 » Tue Jan 12, 2021 12:43 pm

I was wondering about legality of AR pistol in India, According to arms act, point 24 of page 3, AR pistols are legal for permissible license holders, right? Or am I missing something?

From the Arms Rules-2016:
“handgun” means a small arm with a short stock at an angle to and extending below the line of the
barrel, that is designed to be held and fired with one hand and includes pistols and revolvers;
Please explain how this fits with the above video.

well it fires a pistol round (we could substitute 9x19 with something else), has a pistol grip, can be fired with 1 hand, the tube extending backwards isnt a stock but its the storage of recoil spring buffer which could be modified to something like this if situation calls for it.
