So we still have few non believers, or they just dont want to accept the fact. If there is any big inventory please dispose it fast in whatever returns, very less time remaining for the second hand weapons to give premium.
Rightly said sir , all those intrested in glock and other weapon should sell of the weapon immediately wether iof or old imported stuff should dispose of the immediately.
I have both, old and imported
But good thing, have two vacant pistol license too

Absolutely right !why will anyone buy a old weapons which actually cost peanuts , why will someone buy weapons which are 30-40 years old for BS prices if someone is getting a brand new weapon with warranty and to international brand .

IF someone gets a new license, in how much time do they need to purchase a new weapon? And can they get an extension on this time period?
Thanks.

The new licensee gets a first purchase period of 2 years within which he should buy the weapon, if he fails then gets one more year of Purchase period which is final extension, hope your query is answered.

As per Arms Rules 2016, its 2 years+1 year extension but it also depends on how your DM thinks and what rules are followed by your district arms branch.
The time given to you to purchase your weapon will be mentioned in your license.

Just one question, how do we know that Glock is going to cater to civvy market?

They were asking civilians to book their pistols by filling a form. They are not taking any booking amount right now. In their advertisement also they have mentioned that they will be supplying to civilians.
The problem is that they are advertising since April 2019 and it will easily take more than a year (if glock will be coming) as there is no factory on ground as yet. That makes three years of advertisement in advance.

Have you visited the factory site to say there is no factory?
If you know someone from Chennai, ask him to visit the site and then comment. Dont be pessimist brother, Civilians are getting Glock much much sooner than your expectations.
