Yes you’re right brother was referring to that only . The no mention there is always switched of but one lucky day the guy received my call and had a very long talk with him ,Recently spoke to him again on 22 march he said everything is in final stage even pistol are ready and there will be no waiting period , not more than 1 month.
They are just planning like webley to appoint master dealer in country.
They are also planning on how to make a setup to sell to civilian market.
And are awaiting clearance from central government.
Mostly in next month we will hear the news .
Lets hope for the best .
That sounds good, Saurabh. I sincerely hope they are able to pull through. Vineet, it is entirely possible that CMT isn't manufacturing the pistols from the ground up. They could simply be assembling knocked down kits they are importing from Austria. Their reps in the Pragati maidaan video did say they have been supplying to the armed forces for some time now. Not saying that their market entry is certain, but there are other ways that we might be unaware of.

This Raptor does look interesting. From what I can see on line, it seems to be a small version of the 1911. Whether it has a locked breech or not is one question that I have. Some of the old Star 380s had a locked breech (as opposed to blowback) and a locked breech 32 Auto would be quite interesting.

Another question I have is that the manufacturer says it is double action. The location of the pins in the rear of the frame and the short travel of the trigger seems to indicate a single action to me. This wouldn't be too big of a deal if the Browning design, especially the safety, was faithfully copied. For myself, I'd prefer a single action.

The youtube videos I saw didn't show the action being worked, which is unfortunate, as it would have revealed a lot. I will say, the pistol certainly looks good.

In my opinion the maker entirely wasted an opportunity. The video does not answers any questions about the manufacturing process, accuracy, quality of the pistol. The video suffers from bad editing, background noise issues etc.
Would like to see someone post a better review.

I wonder, since these guys are taking orders directly from customers, will they be willing to do custom jobs as well? Like, personalized engravings, finishes, grips and sights? :)
