Is this mark enough to make sure it's 2020 make? Or I should look for some more ques?

Good to see that the year of manufacture is marked. I hope that helps you. The dealers on this board who have seen and marketed this rifle over the years should be able to help you more about the date stampsUDAYANJADHAV wrote: ↑Tue Jun 16, 2020 8:58 pm

I see that they’re using the same spastic monkey to scratch the ‘checkering ‘ and do the wood inletting

This is how all ll IOF rifles come inscribed. Just check the how it cycles round before buying. Try various rounds. Round gets struck which is common problem & can be shorted easily . Apart from that iof 30.06 shoots fine.UDAYANJADHAV wrote: ↑Tue Jun 16, 2020 8:58 pm

Thank you riflemarksman, eljefe and Biren ji.
I checked cycling with 5 dummy rounds, it cycled and extracted them. Bolt is ok, can't say smooth because I have previously handled a Winchester .3006 22" and that was buttery smooth.

Re: IOF 30-06 Rifle
I have this 2013 IOF 30.06 which came with 3 & 5 magazines. IOF ammo cycled nice with 3 round magazine but had issue with all other rounds. 180 grain hard nose serbian ammo worked well in 5 round magazine & worse with S&B. I am yet to ask the dealer what ammo did he gave me when i checked & bought the rifle:)
Enjoy. Its minor issue and can be corrected.
Cheers
Biren

Yes sir, I knew about this issue with IOF rifles. That is why I checked cycling with Sellier & Bellot 180 grain and it cycled good. Still looking for some good 150 or 160 grain ammo.
