Oiling and ammo for EDC

I would like to ask you experienced people questions related to everyday carry for a metal pistol.

1. How often should one oil the pistol if you carry the same regularly. Not really shoot much - that’s once in a year or so at the range.

Do you have to oil the external parts regularly ? Or will it create rusting or overuse of oil create any other issues ?

Which oil do you suggest - is ballistol a good choice ?

2. How often to clean and oil the internal parts ? Again not regularly shooting - but regularly carry.

3. Should you keep the magazine loaded ? Or empty the magazine on a regular basis ? Will it affect the spring if kept loaded ? Will it affect the bullets if you keep loading and unloading regularly ?
