Greetings everyone
Hi everyone,
Apologies for the late introduction. Already made a post before learning about the 'Introductions & Welcomes' section. Feels good to see so many like-minded people here. Although, I shot a bit of firearms and airguns, but it's ancient history now (over 20 years back). Now, trying to get into the groove again as it's always been a passion.
By any chance, has someone tried the Hatsan PCP Air Pistol? I simply loved its specifications and have been talking to some dealers about the possibility of importing one. Getting a bit confused about the kind of rifle club membership required. I know, it should be either NRAI or a club affiliated to the NRAI. However, I am not sure, whether the membership of a club, functioning under a club associated with NRAI is also valid for importing the pistol.
It shoots over 700 fps and I will also be delighted to know, if anyone here has experiences with similar multiple-shot air pistols (0.177 only). How long lasting are these kinds of guns in the Indian context. Are repairs and spares difficult to find. Also, is the import rate 26.85%, if all documents are in order.
Thanks and regards,
Pinak Shome

Re: Greetings everyone
Welcome aboard and hope you enjoy your stay here!
With PCP's the parts that usually wear out the most often are the O rings. You can prolong their life by keeping them in good condition by using good quality silicone oil/ grease (as appropriate). However, it is always a good idea to keep a spare set handy.
Cheers!

Re: Greetings everyone
Thank you for the helpful input. Will definitely keep it in mind, if I do manage to get the gun imported.
