It is a Marlin 1894, chambered for 44Mag, holds 10 rounds in the tube.

Beautiful. Only Schraeder is common with my collection. Thanks for posting. Is that paki knife real damascus or just an imitation. Regards and keep posting

Hi Chengy,
Good to hear from you. It is an actual Damascus style, but made from ordinary mild steel. Not quenched or hardened, so does not hold an edge for long. I think the sheath is actually better quality than the knife!! Doesn't hurt to keep it in the collection.
I have used every knife in my collection, from rabbits to deer, and hopefully Buffalo one day. The Fox gut hook is always used for opening up, then the skinners do the rest. The Gerber Countryman (Folding) handmade, was presented to me by my boss way back in 1982, after he visited the USA. It is now 37 years old!! At that time, each Gerber knife was fashioned from a little billet of steel! I understand it is now a collectable item, and not made anymore. This one, along with the Stainless WW2 pen knife and the Kizlyar are my prized possessions. The little Schrade Old Timer, with stag horn grips belonged to my Dad. He gave it to me the year he passed away (1982) so it has been with me for around 37 years; don't know how long he had it before that - may be 5 years or so when he got it as a gift from my Uncle - so 45 years old at the minimum. Will hand it down, I suppose, just like he did.
If you ever visit Perth, except for the four above, you can choose any one as a gift from me. Taking it back will be your headache!!
