Smith & Wesson as pics attached. Owned by licensed military officer. Kindly advise about what can be the reasonable price for it.

Looks very good. Have you stored it properly and checked for any rust and pitting inside the barrel?

From what I heard from those who know the market better, a near new in the box revolver like yours can fetch around Rs. 6-7 lakh, give or take some. All said, there are no fixed prices on imported revolvers. Depends on what you can negotiate. Just do not be unrealistic in expecting more than it can fetch or fall prey to those who would downplay the market for you. Wait for some answers from our members.

The Box seems new but the Revolver is used.
There is Cylinder Turn visible.
Also there is visible loss of Blueing.
Match the Serial Number on the Box with the Revolver.
I would value the Revolver at 5-6 Lakh.
Mint condition Snub-Nose are available for 6-7 Lakh.
Don't get carried away by the claims of the seller.
Be cautious and judicious in taking the decision.
Don't end up over-paying.

Regards,
Jr.

Keeping in mind current market, I would rate it around 5 lacs. Although there is some rust/light pitting visible on the cylinder, the revolver seems to be in original bluing.

Thank you all. Appreciate it.
Basically would like to sell it off soon, without hassle as my father has retired and does not want the hassle of storing, cleaning, maintaining the gun.

I want to sell an unused Smith & Wesson revolver in Mumbai. What might be a fair price? Where can I find any buyers? I am unable to post pictures here as I can't find an option to attach images.
