First Privately Manufactured Handgun in India? -Check it Out!
Look like this is the first handgun manufactured by a private sector organisation in India. Mundaire will fill in the details.

Its design is similar to Colt 1911. I would like a pistol in 7.62 x 25 mm.
What are possibilities of Small Firearms manufactured Privately in India entering Indian Market? Is there a Law that forbid Indian Industry to manufacture small Firearms? If there is no prohibition then there must have been many manufacturers already and if there is a prohibition then there is no possibility of this specimen entering Indian Market.
Regards

This seems to be on drawing board not an actual prototype. Again a review of functional pistol would be great. We have the manufacturer listed on dealer section. So if he can come and explain the details alongwith pricing as well reply to members queries would be nice

7 shot .32 Cal and 14 shot .22 LR . Inscribed Sheikh Arms and also Bond 007 ,. This cocktail for Indians is rather exotic

Had a chat with the bloke.Price starts at 125K for the raptor. readily available with a 15 day waiting.
Automatic plant , these fellows have apparently researched well, 14 round handgun similar to glock.
This whole thing seems unreal,.32 calibre semi auto in India privately manufactured, I cant believe it - get in quick and enjoy it while you can.
Kudos to sheikh!

Could have done without the James Bond reference. Makes an otherwise impressive looking gun gimmicky.

This firearm looks better than IOF .32 pistol. But is priced very high, when compared with internationally prevailing rates.
There was no such prohibition, there is no such prohibition. It is just a matter of timid policy. The "prohibition" exists in the extremely cowardly mindset of the ruling elite.sumbriavikramaditya wrote:What are possibilities of Small Firearms manufactured Privately in India entering Indian Market? I think comparing Pakistan with India in these type of matters is like comparing apples with oranges. In these type of matters, it would be better to compare India with Bhutan or similar countries. Pakistan has a very deep rooted, rich RKBA and gun culture. On the contrary, in India it is exactly the opposite(with a few exceptions). Even the Pakistani backyard garage workshops can produce better firearms than Indian Ordnance Factory.dpdhaka wrote:Pakistani firms like moonstar making copies of these at vere reasonable rates around 20000 inr .
