The guys with the pcp .25's use no 3 buck shot for their air guns. I'm not sure if you could use the same as a substitute.

.25 caliber air rifle is a licensed air gun please take necessery permission from department before purchasing the same

I don't think the .25 Springer requires license.

But finding choice of ammo would be a big hunt.

A possibility of becoming obsolete model is highly possible.
