Permission for modification of 0.32 pistol

Do I need to take permission to do modification of my .32 pistol from the licensing authority ?
Or any gun dealer can do it ?

No modification to the barrel, caliber conversion, fire rate change etc. is allowed in particular. Suppressors, muzzle breaks etc. are also in the gray area as far as I know.

With due Respect to every member... The above shown modifications as seen are common...I have got it done from a known gunsmith in Meerut... Exposed Hammer, Push Button magazine release, Ventilated rail on slide, blueing, grip change etc... After this modification recently my license was due for renewal... As i was asked i visited the authorities with the fire arm ... They haven't raised any objection... So As far in my knowledge these things are not objectionable... Rest i leave with the fine sense of knowledge of the members here of this esteemed forum... Regards
