Dear Sagar,
Take it in writing from me that once you get GenNex , Artemis will sob quietly at the corner of your room.

Re: GenNex- Excellent Choice for New Shooters
really thats nice basu sir keeping your words in mind i will definately go with genex . in forum somewhere i read that sdb barrel accept well united shot round head &flat head pellets well but usrh pellets i bought from direct company at very low price in quantitiy 10000 at just 3550 including all charges are not sung fit in my artemis 1mm part of skirt is out side breach.please tell me will usfh is sung fit in genex so that i will bougt some pellets directly from them along with genex. it is interesting that united shot also sell sdb rifles at very low cost as compare to online sellers about 1500 to 2000 rs difference. since you are in kolkatta & very close to sdb & united shot i belive in you & appricitate your reviwies & look forward your coperation in tuning artemis & genex in future. when i recive my genex i will inform you .i am planning to use it for target shooting in home at 10 mtr range . i bought this for my 12 yrs old daughter.

Re: GenNex- Excellent Choice for New Shooters
Unitedshot RH 7.6 gns were perfect fit in SDB barrels.
They tried to increase the weight to 8.4 gns and messed up with design.
This design is not energy efficient.
I randomly weighed them and found best.one out of 10 only weighed 8.0 gns.
This is perfect AR for your daughter but I suspect that the father of the daughter will use it more.
I understand that SDB is taking care of each gun before delivery.
GenNex has same adjustable trigger like Artemis.
Unless you know , do not fiddle with the adjusting screw.
Instead ask some experienced one to help you out.

Re: GenNex- Excellent Choice for New Shooters
Ditto!! Am facing the same case with the new lot of US-RH in the other cal. An unduly Inflated skirt seems to mess things up. Have to literally push pellets in my SDB barrels with a makeshift pellet pusher. This surely needs to be remedied.
So far, the pointed head pellets (14.6) are doing great in these barrels. Have a perfect fit. But I am not sure if they will be altering the design (like they did on the RH) in the coming lots.
Dear Mr. Anirudhha Ji,...We hope you are listening please!!
I also believe, claims are being made that the new inflated skirt US pellets tend to fit barrels of other Indian makes though. How true is that please? Anyone?
Best regards,
Prashant

Re: GenNex- Excellent Choice for New Shooters
I TALK TO UNITED SHOT PEOPLE THEY TOLD ME THAT THEY ARE MANIFACTURING PELLETS IN STANDARD SIZES LIKE 4.5MM 5.5MM.I FOUND THEY ARE CORRECT . PRECIHOLE BARREL IS EXACT 4.5MM & US PELLETS FITS IN THEM BUT SDB BARREL IS 4.4MM SO IT IS NOT SUITABLE FOR ANY UNITED SHOT PELLETS.

To my knowledge the bore size :sagar 12345 wrote:I TALK TO UNITED SHOT PEOPLE THEY TOLD ME THAT THEY ARE MANIFACTURING PELLETS IN STANDARD SIZES LIKE 4.5MM 5.5MM.I FOUND THEY ARE CORRECT . IHP - 4.4 mm
SDB- 4 .45 mm
Precihole & Aarmar - 4.5 mm
All Kolkata made ARs 4.4- 4.45 mm.
Unitedshot 8.4 gns skirt was found quite tight and so energy inefficient in SDB barrels.
I suspect even in IHP barrel the head will enter easily.
In SDB GenNex barrel , JSB exact 8.4 gns delivers close to 590 fps but USRH 8.4 returns only 550 fps.
USPH 8.4 gns found quite energy efficient which clocked close to 590 fps.
Incidently US Pointed head 9.6 gns returns close to 550 in the same AR.

Re: GenNex- Excellent Choice for New Shooters
Dear Basu Sir,
I can't understand why SDB or other Kolkata airrifle manufacturers don't make their barrel true 4.5 or 5.5?
I think they have the notion that we will use only Indian made or rather Kolkata made pellets.
Is it going to cost more if they make it actual 4.5 or they lack in proper machinery?
Thanks.
Shoot Less But Shoot Class.

Re: GenNex- Excellent Choice for New Shooters
I believe there is more to it AR manufacturing units in India do not manufacture or endorse pellets hence lack the knowledge of discrepancy of velocity due to minor deviations.

Re: GenNex- Excellent Choice for New Shooters
The idea is too good to avoid uncalled for stares.
Mind GenNex is a small AR.....38" only.
I used the metarial which is used for making back bag.
Costed me 200/-.
But I have a easier option for you.
Visit Podder court, behind Lal Bazar , get a guitar bag , cost 125-150/-.
For me it is a criket bat.
For you it will be guiter bag.
All you need to add strap to keep the gun in centre.
If done successfully , share on forum.

Re: GenNex- Excellent Choice for New Shooters
my gennex arrived today in british walnut colour packed in wooden box with action & stock seperately packed.rifle recived in good condition . i clean the action with cloth & fit with stock using three screws. fired few us pointed pellets i observe very smooth cocking & firing.this gun is really fun for teen agers. i will try to post the accuracy result tommrow.i think its power is very less than 500 fps.may be i am wrong .with factory setting also trigger is very soft & crispy . there no recoil feel after firing few pellets.

Dear sagar12345,
Hope you will enjoy every moment spent with Gennex.Every pellet shot will bring a smile in your face.
But you will have to find the right hold and right pellet for it.My Gennex likes Excite econ pellets the most.
Mine is scoped and I use it within 22m vicinity and believe me it is so accurate that it has the capability of hitting matchstick at that distance.
Thanks.
