I believe there can be different interpretation regarding this query, I will appreciate if anyone can clarify it with the authorities:
1. The rifle scope alone : is covered under Chapter 90 (Under 9013) and Restricted
2. The Rifle Scope if mounted or Presented with the gun : is covered under Chapter 93 (Under 9304) and It seems it can be imported along with a .177 bore airgun.
(However, import of 0.177 bore air guns and air pistols will be free for shooters registered with Rifle Clubs or District/State/ National Rifles Association . )

1. This Chapter does not cover:
a) Goods of Chapter 36 (for example, percussion caps, detonators, signalling
flares);
b) Parts of general use, as defined in Note 2 to Section XV, of base metal
(Section XV), or similar goods of plastics (Chapter 39);
c) Armoured fighting vehicles (heading 8710);
d) Telescopic sights and other optical devices suitable for use with arms,
unless mounted on a firearm or presented with the firearm on which they
are designed to be mounted (Chapter 90);
