Re: Precihole PCP
The handpump was delivered on 7th day of ordering it on aliexpress, fedex rocks (though I was charged 1100 as custom duty taking the final cost at Rs.5000).
Now I wait for Px100 Achilles to reach my door sothat the handpump is checked as I read somewhere that the handpump doesnt work well without the Precihole's filling probe.
Cheers

Re: Precihole PCP
Dear All
Merry Christmas
I would be grateful if someone could provide these informations. I will be sending the same to Precihole too. However, considering the wide knowledge base available at IFG i am keen to put forward these questions to the forum. these are as follows
1) PX 100 is not a regulated gun (Refer chrony results discussed in this forum). Precihole claims it to be self regulating. I checked the website of AOA & BROCOCK (Bantam) and seems they also suggest their gun(Batam) to be self regulating ( chrony results indicates the gun is "Regulated"). I am keen to understand what Precihole actually wants to claim/convey to the consumers.... their gun is regulated/Unregulated?
2) What is the internal diameter of the air cylinder? is it same as widely available Regulators such as HUMA/LANE? Did anyone tried to install a regulator into the airgun.
3) PX100 claims about 60/70 shots (my guess). With the addition of a regulator and optimization of the Hammer system will this shot count may further increase?
4) Who makes the barrel used in PX100? does the barrel of PX100 sports is match grade (better) than the PX100?
5) is it possible to remove the air cylinder from the gun and add a carbon fibre tank (say 400/500 CC) into the gun through some adapter?
Thanks & regards,
Mayank Banerjee

The answer is of Ur first question is it regulated the Answer is no. Self regulated refering to a valve setup which gives u almost equal bleed everyone hammer hits it.It reduces the SD but not as much a regulated will be. Another thing is regulated air rifles will have an additional regulator but control bleeding valve or self regulating valve it doesn't need any kind of special extra regulator piece.Yhe maximum spread I got till the date is 27 FPS through out the fill which is impressive in my opinion.
2-No the huma or other regular made regulator will not work.and believe me u don't need one either.
3-The gun at factory setting gives 14 to 14.6 fpe atleast mine was giving that much and I shoot 6 full mag and I also fill it up only to 180 cooled or 190 hot. It can or may give u more shots if I reduce the power down to 11 or 20 fpe.by removing few coils from hammer spring but I am not sure do it on Ur risk .
4-prechihole is making its own barrel since day first as they already make barrel for Indian ordinances too so barrel quality is good the club version has a 80 mm longer barrel designs stays the same.
5- It's very easy to remove the cylinder from receiver of px 100 but for putting a carbon tank u will need custom stock and also a custom joint connector which will cost u as much as another px100.
Hope it helps.

Thanks for asking the question. My apology for the delayed reply. I paste below a very informative discussion of GTA for your reference. Please let me know if you need further details. I could have copied some part of it but that would have filtered out many important information.

Thanks for the very informative reply. It appears PX100 is a very well built air rifle. I desire to modify it by attaching a high capacity carbon fibre air tank & a regulator. Desire is to modify PX100 into a customized regulated gun. It seems UMAREX Gauntlet integrated Ninja (paintball) air tank with a regulator to a basic QB type unregulated gun and turned it into a <300 $ regulated PCP airgun. the gun shoots really great.
I believe our PX100 is way superior than the QB guns. Addition of an CF air tank and regulator may turn it into a magic. (my guess/ Desire)

Mayank
