Re: my first air gun

Post by art_collector » Wed May 30, 2007 11:47 pm

Hi Feroz,

National Air guns seem to be in short supply. The factory has not been producing any airguns for the last couple of months. There is some problem with their manufacturing licence(thats what the news is) and the matter is pending in the court. The last hearing was last month which did not produce any results ..the next hearing is scheduled for June and as a result the prices have gone up.

You cud call up Art Craft Sales, or any of the shops in Kashmiri Gate, Delhi. U cud also find the airguns in toy shops in CP but prices wud be high.

Hello Sniper,

I have one of what you are looking for and can send you if some courier/ post accepts them. You need not pay anything for it.

However from my personal experience, I would strongly advise you not to use for target practice etc. It is completely useless.

In case you want to understand the inner mechanisms of an air pistol; it is a diferent matter.

Sujay,

I wonder if Sniper is refering to the CO2 version rather than the spring-piston version you have.

Me first Gun was a .22 IHP

Most abused gun ever. dropped her a couple of times.

Though Never had any trouble with her.... she shot straight, easy and nice.... only used my dads crossmans copperheads in her.

Its been like 14 years with her and no trouble....cept that the bolt that held the stock to the Mechanism?(Is that what its called?) broke and i had a pain of a time removing it an replacing it.

mebbe they dont make em like they used to ????

mebbe i was just lucky....

Hey that is indeed good news. Thanks BB.

Abhilash - if its an airgun you can practice at home itself provided you have the space and the proper safety precautions in place.

can anyone tell what is the muzzle velocity of IHP airguns ?
Thy have provide Muzzle velocity data of pneumatic ones only and not of break barrel ones.
