Re: Precihole PCP
But I hope the cheek rest and butt plate will be more comfortable as compared to their present models in which it is almost impossible to keep the head straight

Re: Precihole PCP
I think they will launch AR and pistol both in pcp. Or launch of pistol could be soon after launching pcp AR.

Re: Precihole PCP
They told me that they are going to release the PCP in last week of January 2017.they refused to tell more info on price and specification and exact release date.
Let's hope it will have at least 25ft/lb power and a magazine. 1inch accuracy @50yrd.

Re: Precihole PCP
Is it not better to hope for something a little more realistic? The company which stopped manufacturing .22 after notification of arms act 2016, will produce a 25 fpe rifle that too with 1 inch accuracy at 50 yards? The air force talon can do that, but in .22 and it retails for US$ 600+. An air rifle holding inside an inch at 50 m costs a premium. The Benjamin maximus, retails for $200 but is single shot and has a single stage trigger and accuracy nowhere near. I guess the PCP has two stage adjustable trigger, black iron sights, bolt action with a 8 round clip or maybe single shot, built in pressure gauge, 14.5 fpe energy and 1 inch at 30-35 m. Along with high pressure pump, I think it will retail for anywhere between Rs25-35 ksairamrao wrote:They told me that they are going to release the PCP in last week of January 2017.they refused to tell more info on price and specification and exact release date.

They stopped manufacturing 0.22?
I didn't know that..
I didn't even read what 2016 arms act notification says..is that arms act bill passed?
I'm not very active since a year..so I didn't know what happened here..

Re: Precihole PCP
The act is not passed yet. It says anything above .177 & or above 15 fpe requires an arms license. I verified their stop of manufacturing .22 through email. If the act is not passed, we can hope for a 18-20 fpe PCP.

Re: Precihole PCP
I hope it will maintain a 12fpe limit and comes within 20k. Also with a single shot loading bolt action. It may have minimum 80shots per fill.I think power is not their agenda on their new product, where PCP is meant for less recoil and more accuracy. It is good for precihole to maximize their profit will choose to cater the economy section and keep their price as low as possible. PCP's are now becoming cheaper than a medium range springer, so expect a reasonable price from precihole also.
With regards,

Re: Precihole PCP
I requested Dr.Shirsat that I want to buy their first test models in 0.177 cal in 12/14 ft-lb version a few months ago to use them under actual rural field conditions and he assured me that he would let me know once they are ready. Eagerly waiting for them to become available. Even though I have a valid license to purchase a 0.22" LR Rifle I decided to wait for the Precihole PCP in 0.177" as a much better alternative particularly due to the new arms rules 2016.

Re: Precihole PCP
I think there will be 40-50 shots especially if it fills to 2500 psi. It will be interesting to see if they break their protocol of 12 fpe. As PCP s are not hold sensitive and recoil very less, it is the perfect platform for higher power, albeit with lower shot count. I hope they also sell the high pressure pumps, else it won't be of much use.

Re: Precihole PCP
Great news. Have been waiting for this since a long time now. Heres a picture from Jan 2016, taking the liberty of sharing this now since the wait is finally over.
1. The shooting experience is brilliant. The weight and ergonomics are spot on.
2. The build quality and fit and finish were top notch too.
3. Most of us who got to try it out were able to shoot one hole groupings at 10m, standing and hand held.
4. Above all else, the one thing that has stood out for me has been the excruciating wait for the thing to be launched and made available
From the really short time i got to spend with it, the few things i can vouch for are:1. The shooting experience is brilliant. The weight and ergonomics are spot on.
2. The build quality and fit and finish were top notch too.

Plz plz tell me what is the action, bolt or side lever?
What is the muzzle energy, 12 fpe?
I can shoot one hole groupings hand held at 10m with their NP rifles, so accuracy is not what I am worried about.

For the power figures and other specs, i would wait for the companys official release. What we got to try was a preproduction prototype.
