By using laser guided bullets. If you noticed, this forum deals with AIR GUNS.Whatever it may be,an IOF .32 pistol is NOT an air gun.

You cannot. As per the ISSF/NRAI rules Free Pistol can only be shot with .22LR cartridges.

Both of the above DO NOT import INTO India. Commercial imports of Airguns are NOT allowed, therefore NO ONE imports airguns into India on a commercial basis!
For advice on how to import an airgun yourself, please see the Arms Laws & Airguns sections for details on how to import airguns directly via post or as part of baggage when returning from overseas.
Cheers!

Sitar - Please DO read the advice on HOW & WHERE to post BEFORE posting again.
The subject of the post has been edited by me (from "important" to one that is more reflective of the topic).
Also, the post has been moved from the section "Firearm Dealerships - Central India" to the "Airguns" section.
FYI - Commercial imports of airguns into India IS NOT yet allowed. Airguns may only be imported by individuals for their own personal use.... for how, please browse/ search through earlier posts made in this section as well as the "Arms Law" section.

HI! interesting use of the language mate
If u want to compete and aquire the instruments I suggest u join ur state association and the shooters there will point u in the right direction - after that its ur determination and the kind of instrument u acquire depends upon ur wallet
BTW pls stop using all caps for ur posts: its akin to shouting and considered rude.

Who would like to leave the IFG customers......atleast u would be assured of dealing with decent customers.....LOL....well till that happens and commercial imports are allowed I am sitting and waiting on the fence for the miracle to happen.......

If the rifle is sent via courier, then the courier will pay the duty to customs and you will need to reimburse them.
If the rifle is sent via Royal Mail / Parcel Force, then the duty will have to be paid at the Mumbai Postal Customs office or at your local post office. For small parcels, you can also pay the postman when he brings the parcel to your door.

Hi Guys,
After going through personal experiences of some members here and the RULES section, i plan to go abroad and import an airgun from Dubai (as my personal baggage).
One of the custom rules says that i have to show a Membership certificate of a Shooting Club/rifle Association etc.
If someone can help me there:-
What kind of club has this got to be?
Does it have to be the NRAI (rifle association)? or any private shooting range membership will do?
Any specific name/organisation in Jaipur(or elsewhere in Rajasthan), whom i can approach for membership.
Will appreciate the help.
Thanks and Regards
Sangha

Shooting club/ rifle association membership is ONLY required IF you plan to import via post. If you are bringing it back with you as part of baggage, baggage rules would apply and you DO NOT need any sort of club membership.
However, when you do bring it back as part of baggage, the airgun will in all probability be retained by the customs at the airport and you will then have to get the local police to certify it as being an airgun and NOT a firearm before they release it... The process varies depending on the customs officer on duty as they have vast discretionary authority in interpreting baggage rules...
HTH
