Making arms license simpler. Good but we can only dream about it.

Brilliant leaders we have. To top it off the News Papers view is in support of the licensing.
The paper didnt bother to give a counter view. They didnt even mention the effects such stupid recommendations may have on the shooting sports.

If only the W C D minister paid more attention her portfolio ie: to look after the interests of WOMEN & CHILD DEVELOPMENT & not interfere with such stupid concepts like 'Licencing Air Rifles - she would be justifying the salary she earns as an MP!

Looks like she has too much time on her hands & hence this foray into such unwanted pursuits!

"The plastic pellets of air guns have lead. They can injure a child and in case of an animal, cause gangrene."

I'm speechless. I've no speech.
with guns we are citizens, without we are subjects

Oh! It's Mrs. G. Ignore her, friends. She's well-known for having an out-of control tongue.

And she's anyway been discussed a lot, from the large number of licensed weapons owned by her family, to her carelessness in allowing one of her weapons to be stolen. Her opposition to guns, airguns, catapults, toy guns, and everything she else wants to be limited to her family and her "set". The low, low prices she paid for purchasing so-called "captured weapons". The birds released on her orders (when she was wildlife minister), most of which died promptly. Her misplaced sympathy for wildlife (which leads to more problems for said wildlife). And so on and so forth.
Cheers!

Just struck me....The minister in question is officially responsible for W C D (Women & Child Development)
Now that she has ruffled our sentiments.... "Wouldn't it be appropriate to drop the "D" from her portfolio and retain only "WC"?

Just Awesome.. People (our ministers) should do a google search before making statements. GIYF.
Air Guns & Toys are totally different things. That way we should put a ban on Kitchen Knives/Pencils/Plastic Bags and long list of common household items which put children's at much greater harm than a Air Gun.

Boooo Whoooo..

Why all the fuss??? If this particular lady has made such a statement, we should be happy. It shows everything is normal. On the contrary, if she had said something sensible, i'd be damn worried, because that would have been abnormal .... very abnormal.
