The M1 Carbine was chambered in .30 Carbine, a cartridge that was developed for .30 Carbine.

Hello kanglasa welcome to the forum! Please tell us a little more about yourself and how you got interested in guns.
We would definitely love to hear about how you acquired this venerable M1 .30 Carbine, especially since this a prohibited bore. Hope you have access to the ammo.
Pictures would be appreciated.

Re: M1 US Carbine from the auction
Where and who conducts these auctions? How how does one get to know about them?
As it takes a minimum of 45 days to sell a gun and after that you have a limited time period to purchase a replacement.

Re: M1 US Carbine from the auction
easy just pop into your local government auction house and make a bid,
to sell a gun can take a week at the most.

Re: M1 US Carbine from the auction
I will find an auction house soon enough. I have decided to sell all my guns and then go in for these exotic guns. Ammo doesn't matter as one can't shoot any where in India.
Then hopefully you guys can drool all over them.
